Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She is the Robertses' fourth generation who reside in the Atlanta region beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. In the early years, her father began to take an interest in theater. He was an actor on the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. In 1953, he was a member of the Air Force. He was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple got married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter and his wife left the military in the year 1957 at which time they were enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter started his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. In 1964, Walter along with Betty Lou began production on an on-sunday morning local children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which continued for six seasons. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also also known as Julie) in this time.
